Service Types

Service types define how customers can order from your restaurant — whether that's pickup, delivery, dine-in, curbside, or catering. Each service type can be enabled per location and configured independently.

Available Service Types

• Pickup — Customers order online and pick up at the restaurant
• Delivery — Orders are delivered to the customer's address
• Dine-in — Customers order from their table
• Curbside — Customers order online and pick up without leaving their vehicle
• Catering Pickup — Large or catering orders picked up at the restaurant
• Catering Delivery — Large or catering orders delivered to an address

Enabling a Service Type

1. Go to Restaurant → Service Types
2. Select a location from the location filter
3. Toggle the service type on or off for that location

Configuring a Service Type

Click on a service type to open its settings page. Each service type can be configured with:

• Display name — The label customers see at checkout
• Preparation time — Estimated wait time shown to customers
• Scheduled orders — Whether customers can order in advance
• Auto-confirm — Automatically confirm incoming orders
• Customizations — Options like special instructions, utensils, party size
• Operating hours — When the service type accepts orders
• Payment options — Which payment methods are accepted
• Order throttling — Limits on how many orders can come in at once
